Announcing: Dr Small has been chosen to be President of Ozark Empire Kiwanis Club beginning in October 2008. This will be the second time around for Presidency having served in that capacity in 1992. Our club is known for providing shoes with our Shoes That Fit program for disadvantaged children in the Springfield School system. We have been providing shoes since 1950, raising money for the project with the Kiwanis Annual Apple Sale--Washington "Extra Fancy" red and golden Delicious apples. Club members both sell and deliver these bushels of apples to those many fine folks who help these children by buying the apples.
Update: 146 shoes delivered last week and 137 this week!! Lots of wonderful children needing shoes.

Dr. Small is a 1975 Graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles with a B. A. in Biology, also a 1976 graduate of UCLA with a Masters in Neurophysiology.
A 1979 graduate of Washington University School of Dental Medicine, St. Louis, MO. Dr Small taught at the school in the Department of Community and Preventive Dentistry through 1980. After gaining many hours of valuable mentoring from experienced dentists by associating in urban and rural dental pracitices in both Southwest and Southeast MO, Minneapolis, MN, and Kalipell, MT, Dr Small opened his own office in Springfield in 1990.
We opened our current modern facility in January 2005, incorporating many new pieces of hi-tech dental equipment to provide you with the best dentistry available.
Dr. Small has been practicing in Springfield since 1990, and Southwest Missouri since 1983.
As a Member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Small has accumulated well over 500 hours of Post-graduate Continuing Education in all phases of dentistry including; Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics, Crowns and Bridges, Dentures, Implants, Partial Dentures, Periodontics, Dental Pathology, Dental Forensics, just a name a few areas.
